Richmond Park is the largest of the Royal Parks and is also a national nature reserve.

Both locals and tourists enjoy sitting, strolling, running and cycling whilst taking in the wonderful grassland views and also having close encounters with the park’s red deers.

The park welcomes groups to picnic within the park grounds as long as you follow Royal Parks guidance.

Maximum Group Size: 40

If you are planning a picnic with more than the maximum amount, you can contact the Park Office for more information.
