I could watch James Bond movies every week and not get bored, but my favourite by far is Casino Royale with Goldfinger next on the list.
I love how the films bring together style, glamour and in the more recent films, gritty action that leaves your mouth hanging open, picture this; the scene where James is fighting Obanno in the stairwell in Casino Royale .
We all must clearly love a good spy film because the film industry has been churning out James Bond films since 1962, and our adoration for the franchise extends into everything from merchandise, experiences, to party themes.
And speaking of party themes, a Casino Royale party theme creates the perfect opportunity for people to look their best, indulge in luxury and experience the world of MI6’s no.1 agent.
Let’s get into the design.
The Silhouette
Where have you been if you are unfamiliar with the iconic James Bond opening credits scene?
No Casino Royale party theme is complete without featuring the 007 silhouette, so set up some engaging wall decor by projecting a white circle on a wall and have guests stand between the projector beam and the circle to bring out their inner James Bond or Glamorous Bond girl.
The Tuxedo Bow Napkin
Folding a napkin is not easier than folding a simple rolled napkin.
Use this napkin fold, then add a mini satin bow tie to the neckline for that formal 007 look.
James Bond has some serious military grade skills and is an elite marksman.
So a Casino Royale theme needs an armoury in the form of confetti cannon guns.
Fire out oodles of gold confetti for an action-packed finale to the party.
James Bond is no stranger to elegance and fine food.
He favours game, beef, lamb, and when he indulges in seafood, it is the best Beluga Caviar.
Casino Royale party theme appetiser ideas:
James Bond inspired cocktails:
The Vesper Martini
Probably the drink that most people associate with James Bond, and named after Bond’s love interest Vesper Lynd.
This is a no-nonsense drink laced with three alcoholic ingredients that will no doubt leave you feeling shaken and stirred!
The Americano
In the books James Bond enjoys drinking an Americano when he travels.
Le Chiffre (French 75)
In Casino Royale, we were introduced to the villain Le Chiffre, the accountant/gambler and champagne drinker.
The name Le Chiffre is French and means “the Number”? And although there is no specific cocktail linked to Le Chiffre, as he drinks champagne, I think a French 75 cocktail fits the character bill nicely.
Straight Serves:
I’m All In
There is no casino without gambling.
Hire casino tables and a croupier to play Bond’s favourite games.

Get custom poker chips with the event name or guest names for added embellishment.
They also make a stylish take-home favour.
A Casino Royale theme is all about dressing to the nines.
Guests are invited to wear formal attire such as:
