Homemade Chocolate Half Spheres

Chocolate and dulce de leche half filled spheres

High-grade dark chocolate filled with fruit and dulce de leche is a spectacular mix.

Try making these delectable half-spheres for a homemade finishing touch.

What you will need

Dark Chocolate
DARK CHOCOLATE
Bananas
BANANAS
Dulce de Leche
DULCE DE LECHE

LET’S MAKE IT

INGREDIENTS

250g 70% or above Dark Chocolate (we used M&S Swiss Chocolate)
Dulce de Leche
1 Banana

EQUIPMENT
Half Sphere Mould
from Lakeland

Yield 12

STEP 1

Melt 250g of dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl submerged in hot water or in a microwave.

STEP 2

Quarter fill 12 moulds with the dark chocolate then set aside.

STEP 3

Add half a teaspoon of dulce de leche on top of each of the chocolate filled half spheres.

You can use store bought dulce de leche or make your own.

STEP 4

Chop the banana into 12 slices and place into each sphere.

STEP 5

Return to the dark chocolate and fill each sphere until the half is completely covered.

STEP 6

Place the mould tray into a freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate has completely harden.

Remove when the spheres have set and store in a cool, dry area.
