What can be said about the Birthday Cake Martini?

It’s a stroke of genius! It’s sweet, fun and also strong enough to be taken seriously.

I served this at birthday gathering a few years ago and it was a such a hit.

Believe me when I say if there was a choice between a slice of cake or one of these delights, the cake is firmly ranked #2.

So if cake and booze is right up your street, why not have both in a glass.

Strain the mix into your martini glass and enjoy!

TOP TIPS

If you are making Birthday Cake Martinis for a large group of guests:

  1. Frost and sprinkle the rim of your glasses ahead of time and put in the freezer for 20 minutes. This will stop the frosting from running before adding the cocktail mix.
  2. When you remove the glasses from the freezer allow them to stand for 5 minutes in a cool room so the frosting softens slightly.

Remember – Glasses should only be frozen if they are freezer-safe.

MAKE IT NON-ALCOHOLIC

Remove the vodka

Add 20ml of Monin White Chocolate Syrup instead of the white chocolate alcohol liquer.
